An Audit in general is called an analysis procedure, which evaluates the process regarding the requirements and guidelines.
It is often used within the quality management. The result is shown in the audition report.
This audition report gives you a quick rating, if your suppliers are able to fulfill all requirements technically and personnel wise, such as quality, efficiency and quantity like.
